Updated: Naish Alana Air 10.6 (2014)
Combining looks, stability and inflatable convenience.
The Naish Alana Air inflatable SUP board is designed for women riders seeking a wide stable SUP for recreational cruising and directional control.
The board’s width (30″) provides plenty of stability for lighter riders. It also features a progressive rocker line to add maneuverability.
If you ski or snowboard, you know these new rocker shapes with wide profiles make for a really nice ride.
It is also very easy to carry. The Alana Air is only 4″ thick. Plus it’s an inflatable SUP. This makes for board both very packable and transportable.
When you combine this level of convenience with the female focused design and rocker profile, this is one of the most unique SUPs on the market.
This SUP also includes a nice diamond groove deck pad for added comfort and control.
When you’re new to the sport, or even for more advanced riders, these are the details that make it much easier to turn or just maintain a straight line in choppier conditions. This also adds traction to prevent slipping on the wet surface.
At 10’6″, the length of the Alana is suitable for a wide range of riders. The maximum recommended weight for this board is 200 lbs, so while it’s mostly designed for women (aesthetically), its perfect for other family members as well.
Smaller riders can glide nicely on this board. And if you’re into a nice casual cruise around your harbor, you can definitely squeeze another passenger on.

what is the 2014 PSI and the 2015 Psi ?
its way too soft for riding the ocean,
Thanks for your comment! We would suggest contacting the manufacturer (Naish) for recommended psi on ’14 and ’15 models. However, with the included high pressure pump, lots of paddlers are able to achieve the right amount of stiffness and stability for ocean conditions with this board. Hope that helps!
